What we offer young dancers.
Developing Dancers Melbourne provides high-quality classical ballet coaching for dedicated, motivated and talented young dancers.
Our focus is on personalised technical development, individual attention and long-term progression, delivered by Kate Reilly - an experienced, caring and highly qualified ballet specialist trained in the Vaganova method.
Private coaching may complement a dancer’s core training at a quality ballet school, or form a complete tuition pathway for students needing a more individually tailored approach.

School Terms
Most dancers attend one private session weekly throughout school terms.
This provides the perfect balance between focused individual coaching and their wider training commitments.
Weekly sessions allow for:
Regular reinforcement of technical, artistic and musical corrections
Gradual and safe improvements in strength and flexibility
Growing confidence through individual attention
Time between lessons to practise with purpose (including written prompts if useful)
Close tracking of each dancer’s development
Early support if a student needs extra practice or encouragement
Clear, ongoing communication with families
Holiday intensives
Optional holiday intensives (3–5 consecutive days) provide an exciting opportunity to:
Dive deeper into technique
Build strength and flexibility
Prepare for personal goals such as auditions, exams or competitions
Access high-quality training for those travelling from interstate or regional areas
